In order to provide the best facilities for all-round development of students, we have created an optimum environment where every aspect of teaching and learning is supported by modern and relevant technology. We take pride in fostering the intellectual and social development of children during their formative years.

Classroom presentations and individual instructions help our students learn and apply concepts in subjects such as Science, Mathematics or English. Hands-on approach, props, manipulatives are applied to help children understand abstract concepts, solve problems, and develop critical thought processes in order to help them succeed in life.

Sri Balaji Himachal Education Society is a non-profit charitable Society working towards providing high quality education at the school level. In line with its charitable objectives, the Society has been granted a charitable status and registered under section 12AA and also under section 80G of the Income Tax Act, 1961.

The society started Highland Public School in Dharamshala in the year 2006 in a rented premise. The society is establishing a new campus for its school in approx 2.5 acres of land. The school campus would, apart from the academic blocks, also have a large play-ground for cricket, hockey, football and athletics, tennis and a basketball court, a large auditorium and an open air theatre as part of its facilities.

The emphasis of the school is to provide education at par with the best available in large metropolitan cities at highly affordable and subsidized costs to the local students of Dharamshala and its suburbs. We wish to make Highland Public School a landmark in Himachal which has a truly international flavour with Indian values. It will not only be a jewel in the crown of Dharamshala but whole of Himachal Pradesh.
